Grant and Karen moved from Newcastle, Ontario in May 2018 to Lunenburg to start their dream of owning a guesthouse in the East Coast.  They were both born in Tillsonburg, Ontario and lived there for 40 years before moving to Newcastle.  They have three beautiful daughters, three adorable grandaughters, and one cute grandson.

 

Grant owned a bookstore and has worked for the automotive industry for 26 years.  Karen grew up in the restaurant/motel industry where she worked for over 20 years.  In their spare time, Grant loves to cook and Karen loves to bake new recipes (especially gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free ones!)

 

Their love for the Maritimes, the ocean, and meeting new people is what brought them to Nova Scotia to open their guesthouse.  Grant and Karen live on site and are very eager to make your stay in their home comfortable and enjoyable.  They have many local "must-see" recommendations if you want to know where to eat, shop, and explore.
